My mom found these vintage pictures at her local thrift shop. I say "score"!!! I love them. The frames are ornate and a bit goddy, which is what I love about them. My mom thought I could put pictures of the kids in them, but I loved the floral art that came with them that I didn't change a thing!!!

I have had a few friends ask me recently what my house looks like while I am "crafting". By crafting I mean working on hair accessories for my etsy shop. Here are a few photos of my house, can you guess which room is my crafting room?

New Onesie Design

I love all things nautical! I can't pass up a good nautical theme. So I have been toying with the idea that my daughter will be a "pretty pirate" for Halloween. I wanted to make her costume this year since she will only be 10 months old, and I don't feel the need to buy an expensive costume she will never wear again. Plus I love all things handmade too! This is an old blue striped onesie I kept from my oldest son, and I re-purposed it for this new onesie. I used vintage linen fabric with a white anchor print, some cheap lace, and I made a bow from wool felt. And of course I attached a nautical button to finish the look! Next to make a nautical headband!

My New Shop Stamp

I had a custom stamp made from a store called Tickled Pink Paper & Ink. I love it! I bought the stamp so I could get my packaging organized for my retail sales. The stamp was very reasonably priced for custom and it was shipped super fast. It came gift wrapped with a gift of a few cards. Super sweet! Check it out!www.tickledpinkpaperink.etsy.com

My Daughter's New Shoes

I purchased these delightful shoes from another etsy store called Handmade Therapy. Lets just say I wish these were made in adult sizes. The fabric is gorgeous and they are lined with ultra soft fleece with leather soles. They also have an ankle elastic so they stay on... Just Fabulous and they make the most precious baby gifts.

A Warm Fall Day

New Fall Inventory

I have been working really hard over the past few weeks creating and making new products for my online store. I am trying to make most of my hair accessories work double duty. Going on Vacation

Ok, going on vacation with two kids can be a Wonderland adventure in itself. Especially if those said kids are under the age of 4 and your stuck inside a cramped car for aprox. 10 hours with all the gear (this is another discussion) and a dog... So many things run through my head, like, will they behave, will they sit still, how many times will we have to stop to use the bathroom... Well of course spending that much time in a vehicle will cause some meltdowns, including from myself. If any other mothers out there have any suggestions on keeping kids busy in the car please post those suggestions here!
